Plasticene Dude Assignment- Storyboard and more sculpts
Here's the rough storyboard I made for the sequence of sculptures for Photo media at uni that I mentioned in a previous post.
And here are some of the sculpts I made from the storyboard
And some concepts for the background that I'll place the characters sculptures on.
I'll be photographing the finals next week so I'll post them the following week....probably

Plasticine Dude Assignment Concepts
One of the subjects I'm doing for uni this semester is Photo media, and for our final assessment we get to produce a folio of photos on whatever we want, so I decided to do a simple story with a plasticine dude in a kind of 2D/3D composition.
Its about the dude below getting hungry then finding a snack.
My plan is to sculpt the guy on sheets of clear plastic then put them on top of a simple background and photograph each frame, moving each sculpt along for each photo.
This isn't a claymation, but more like a storyboard or visual sequence of static images which will tell a story.
